ImageTHIS IS OFFICIALLY THE WORST FILM I HAVE SEEN THIS YEAR, hands down! If you go to see an advanced free screening of a film and there are people WALKING OUT of it, you know it is bad.

When I first heard about the film, I had never seen any trailers, nor knew anything about it.  I started to read up on it and the premise actually sounded pretty interesting.  Why not see a movie that takes a comedic stand on all Ten Commandments?  Could be funny right?

The Ten stars Paul Rudd (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy), Winona Ryder (Girl Interrupted, Edward Scissorhands), Oliver Platt (Lake Placid, Simon Burch), Jessica Alba (Sin City, Into The Blue), Famke Janssen (X-Men, X-Men 2) and Liev Schreiber (Scream, The Omen).

The Plot: The plot line to this movie is that it does not have one. Paul Rudd is essentially the narrator that takes you through ten different stories all based off of the Ten Commandments. Now, I am not going to sit here and give the story line of all ten, because you will just want to blow your brains out like I did when you pass the first story. When Paul Rudd came back on screen after the first Commandment story was finished and he said there were nine left, I almost got up and walked out myself.

I will give you an example of how not funny the comedy was. For THOU SHALT NOT KILL, it was the story of a doctor who, when delivering a baby, thought it would be funny to leave a pair of scissors in a girls stomach. She ends up dying for obvious reasons and we find out the only reason he did it was that he wanted to play a "goof" on the husband. He ends up going to jail. That is honestly one of the ten stories. I kid you not.

The Review: Overall, this is definitely the worst film I have seen so far in 2007. I have never felt so bored in a ninety minute movie in my life. It felt like it lasted for over three hours. My buddy kept telling me, "You don't get it man." Trust me, I understand what the story was trying to do, but it was not funny. It was completely ridiculous and awful.

I really just felt like the film was trying too hard to be funny. Winona Ryder is usually a great actress, but in this movie, her role was so annoying. The first Commandment opened up with her and Adam Brody. Brody jumps out of a plane and gets stuck in the ground. If he leaves this spot in the ground, he will die. The Commandment deals with Ryder's and Brody's relationship.

The Verdict: Seriously, I am actually getting angry writing this review. The film receives a .5 BDK rating because it is not worth spending a single red cent on. It had maybe two or three scenes that made me chuckle and that is it. Please, for the love of God, skip this movie.
