VWC Concert Series: Cavani String Quartet

Williamsburg Choral Guild: Music of the Heart

Eva Ayllón

After emerging in the early 70s, Eva immediately set a landmark by establishing herself as the leading exponent of Afro-Peruvian music. Her impressive catalogue of recordings now comprises  more than 20 albums including a double Latin Grammy nomination in 2003 and a double Platinum album in her native Peru. Eva Ayllón's wildly successful concert at the American Theatre in 2005 was a season highlight. She returns for another night of sultry, spicy and exciting music this fall!
