I’m impressed and excited about the upcoming season at the Ferguson Center for the Arts.
They’re continuing to bring in a pretty eclectic selection of artists,
hoping to get all sorts of different people through their brightly-lit
arches. Some of these events, I’m sure will be instant sellouts.
Since the season currently includes 46 separate engagements, I’ve broken it up by category. If you want to see it all listed in order, check out the Ferguson website.
As is probably the smartest plan of
action, the majority of the acts hopping on the stage this season will
be musical, either classical or, um, not classical. Some don’t fall
into distinct categories, but the highlights are classical, rock,
country, folk, jazz, doowop, gospel, and “ethnic” for lack of a better
word. So it's all broken up by genre here, in no particular order.
